Innovation and Intellectual Property Week (formerly known as the International Intellectual Property Week), is a brand new flagship event driven by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). IP-related organisations in Hong Kong joined forces in promoting Hong Kong's advantages as the regional IP business hub in Asia. A series of conferences, exhibitions and workshops was held during the week (1-7 December 2014) to facilitate IP trading.

| In order to promote the communication and collaboration in the areas of industry, research and education between UK and China, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and UCLan Biomedical Technology (Shenzhen) Limited (UBTSL) organized the UCLan China-UK Science and Innovation Exhibition and Symposium 2014 in the Shenzhen Virtual University Park on 1st and 2nd December, 2014. The UCLan academics shared their latest research outcomes, communicate with participants and try to understand their technical requirements, exchange business information, expertise and discussed potential collaboration opportunities along with 150 participants. |

| The APAC Innovation Summit (AIS), formerly known as InnoAsia, is a six-day event organised by the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC).
